Chaz Dheer (or Chaz, Dear as his mum calls him) is a genuine product of the UK and former partner of a London firm with a complete set of skills in M&A, corporate and commercial law.  He can float your IT start-up, knows what a leveraged MBO is (in fact, he speaks fluent private equity) and, with a deal sheet containing more zeroes than World War II, he is, basically, the complete corporate package.  He leads our transactional practice with an air of disarmingly quiet confidence and the best sideburns in the firm.

We have so far been unable to crack Chaz's preternatural calm, not by insisting on calling him Chazz Michael Michaels throughout the recruitment process or by hiding dead shellfish in his workstation (actually that one may work yet).  The pre-employment medical did establish a pulse, so we're led to conclude that he's just plain unflappable in that classically English way.  And so it's no surprise that he's both the fourth tallest and fourth shortest member of the partnership, really.  But he does have the best name, no question.
