We look after the legal needs of corporate clients.
We bring a lot of smarts and a lot of experience
to that task. Here's a snapshot of what we can do.
CONTENT AND TECHNOLOGY
Apps, hardware, software, use of the cloud and shared platform solutions, digital, data, robotics, TV, film, social media, music, esports, gaming, advertising and marketing, information and data services, content licensing, ICT, network equipment, devices and components, mobile towers, data centres and cyber security.
To be honest, we’ve agonised over what to call this practice area, but in the end it’s just, you know, the cool stuff. We’d say it’s “wires” but that’s no longer true. Server or cloud-based, technology is that fast train speeding out of sight, and content is why it exists. The law is always playing catch-up, like an aged security guard trying to catch a streaker.
Our team loves the possibilities, so they’re your best friends on the journey into the digital unknown. The trick is not about knowing what’s next (nobody does); it’s about knowing what exists and running with the pace of change.
The work is not always as exciting as the chat. Technology contracts are hard to write, especially if you want anyone to be able to understand them (we do). And in the content field, the complexity of convergence, competition, regulation together with the infinite varieties of creation make the opportunities for getting ripped off too many to contemplate. You don’t want to approach this stuff unarmed.
As always, we do everything for a fixed fee and, once we fix it, we’re in till the end. A mention in the closing credits would be a nice bonus, if you’re so inclined.
